NEW YEAR'S EVE!!
Auld Lang Syne is a Scottish folk song composed by Robert Burns, the most popular Scottish poet who was born in the eighteenth century.
Commonly used in the New Year, a time when someone leaves a long journey in time, a funeral, etc.
You hear almost every year, especially at this time, but "Auld Lang Syne" is usually used with a bounce that will last long or even a funeral, but the agency is particularly Christmas.
It's a song we all know (mainly because they sing a lot in the movies and American series), but few people know its title, its origin and meaning.
Auld Lang Syne Scottish would translate into English as "old long since ", although in Spanish it would be better for such a translation "for old times".
